We recently had the pleasure of helping Seattle Public Library create an animated vid for their Summer of Learning Initiative. We took their approved art assets and made the most of them. We did VO casting for a diverse group of kids and grown ups, had a great time combining the various voices with the characters to tell this story, added our favorite PICO library track of all time, and gave it to SPL to share on their platforms right before the 2021 school year let out!
Who doesn't love vintage surf tones?? This post-scored custom track complements the starts and stops of this Apple TV spot. PICO is proud to have worked on Music, Sound Design, and Post Mixes across multiple LOB's for Apple.
The team at C+F came to us with a great idea for this jingle. Drawing on our experience with character voices and custom music arrangement, we developed their idea from a phone recording into a fully realized ensemble, giving unique voices to their newly developed iconography for Sound Transit.
Taco Bell sent this animation over to us completely final, after they decided it would be cooler with music on it. The ask was for a library track, but why pull a library track that just "sort of fits" when you can entirely post score the whole thing with custom music that hits every fun moment in this :15? So we cooked up a few looks, and this is the one they picked.
We helped to launch Lego Star Wars' "Castaways" title for Apple Arcade with and sound design that utilizes both in-game SFX and PICO-owned sound assets, and a crafty customized music edit of John Williams' iconic "Cantina Band".
For Pabst Blue Ribbon's 2022 / 23 campaign, our friend at DNA came to us with their lyrics and visions of a classic vintage sounding jingle. After demo-ing a few, we landed on this direction together, put it down on some 2-inch tape, and delivered a jam straight out of Burbank in 1982. Deliverables also included a 2-second version, to be used across other campaign collateral.
PICO has handled all audio production on these spots for the NBA2K21 and NBA 2K22 titles for Apple Arcade-- VO casting for the announcer roles, music editing, sound design (utilizing both in-game assets and PICO-owned sounds), and post mixing. Here's the larger than life mix for NBA2K21.
We developed this custom track to be used across multiple pieces of video collateral for Once Upon A Farm. Our goal was to create a piece of music that was warm, active, and upbeat to complement their messaging geared towards parents. Then, we added a few sound design touches to complement BUCK's active and super fun animation, we chose the best takes from Jennifer Garner's VO recordings, and we put it all together across an ongoing campaign.
Some of our favorite projects to work on involve the seamless integration of music and sound design, working together towards an engaging outcome. For this set of 3 x :15's, each creators' piece had its own unique look and tone. We developed custom music for 2 of the spots, and created sound design to complement every moving thing in these very active spots, while making sure the sounds were separated enough to not be overwhelming.

PICO handled custom music and all sound design for these awesome 80's cartoon vibe spots for Rainier Beer's ReWild the Rainiers campaign. Here's the :30 spot. Our work on this campaign across multiple deliverables helped contribute to a 53% increase in brand recognition and a 63% increase in unaided awareness.
What started as an entirely in-house passion project experiment for PICO has grown into a YouTube channel with 50,000 subscribers and over 65 million views. Koala and Giraffe are 100% created, voiced, animated, and produced by the PICO team. This channel is the ongoing exercise that keeps our things fresh here, and it's via our work on Koala and Giraffe that we're able to offer this same level of fun loving creative to our commercial and industry clients.
